“Of course there are moments that you wonder how long you should be doing it, because there are other aspects which are not nice, of this lifestyle. But I just love winning.” – Aryton Senna
The motocross world suffered a devastating blow this morning, as Jantz Grodzicki succumbed to injuries received at the 41st Annual Thor Motocross Winter Olympics. The Southern California teenager was a fixture to numerous racing circuits, including our own Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series, and each time on the track he displayed impressive speed for a rider of any age. While we often times force out the unpleasant thoughts of our minds before taking to the track, incidents like this where no one is to blame, make us face the dark reality that is motocross.
Randy Roberts of Idiotboyz edited footage of Grodzicki he captured this past year into one video and sent it our way. The video is one of the best ways to remember the number 96: aboard a bike and at the front of the pack. Rest in peace, Jantz Grodzicki.
