What’s “Pheed?” To be honest, we aren’t exactly sure just yet, but the guys at TransWorld SkateBoarding fired us an email saying that it is the next big thing in social networking and that we’d better lock in our name.
A little bit of background information on Pheed : it launched in October of this year and has a list of celebrity profiles mixed in with us commoners. Users can join for free and post photos, video, text, audio, and “broadcasts,” to their subscribers. The creators of the newest social platform state that they have taken all of the good things about Twitter, FaceBook, and Instagram and combined them into one seamless site. If it is easy enough for Miley Cyrus and Paris Hilton to use, then we should have no issues dialing it in.
