With free reign to do almost anything necessary to perfect their machines, the JGRMX/Toyota/Yamaha YZ450F race bikes are much different than their fellow blue riders. Since the their inaugural running in 2009, we have seen them create their own shocks, fuel tanks, engine packages, and now, exhaust systems. The wrap-around FMF exhaust the team debuted at last fall’s Monster Energy Cup has been said to be a pre-cursor to what we should expect from the OEM in 2014, but for now it is trick and unobtainable. We asked Patrick Barker, mechanic for Justin Brayton, to give us the rundown on the number 10 machine.
