The announcement of the newly formed Ricky Carmichael/Carey Hart race team last fall sent waves through the industry. The sport’s newest legend and an ex-racer who made a fortune solely off of his name had come together for a team that would undoubtedly change the pit area and the way teams are organized. Like many still growing teams, their expectations for their two riders, Josh Hill and Broc Tickle, were modest but there is still a yearning to perform. Carmichael oversees rider and bike development and in an effort to take the program one step further, the team will head to his Tallahassee, Florida, home for a multi-week boot camp.
