Now that Supercross is a thing of the past, racers are preparing for the long summer that lies ahead. Three riders in particular come into the 2013 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship with high expectations set on them, and coincidentally they are training partners. Debate runs rampant aroung Ryan Villopoto’s first outdoor season since 2011 and if he will carry the dominance he possessed all Supercross season. After a lackluster season, Jake Weimer stepped up with impressive ride at Saturday night’s Las Vegas finale. Can he rise to the challenge in one of the deepest seasons ever? And will Adam Cianciarulo, Mitch Payton, and the rest of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki camp to an agreement on the teenager’s fate? This will all be answered soon enough, but in the mean time, we get to watch training days such as this one Randy Roberts caught while at Lake Elsinore. There is no music layered over the booming sounds of the factory thumpers, so you have even more to enjoy.
