One of the biggest and most technical obstacles of the Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship is High Point’s infield tabletop. The massive booter comes just after a 90-degree right hand turn and has a run-in that requires a rider to get on the throttle as soon as possible. In prime conditions, nearly everyone in the 250 and 450 ranks can sky the jump, but rain in the days leading up to this year’s National dwindled down the field to most of the 450 class and a select few 250 riders.
One photo shows Jake Weimer scrubbing the takeoff and rolling the jump. While this may not seem as impressive as launching into the air, it was just as fast if done correctly.
