The Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series Northern California Fall Cup kicked off with a stop at 408MX in San Jose. The track, touted as one by racers, for racers, is favorite of those in the Golden State, and after a round of motos, it’s understandable as to why.
During the 450 Pro motos, locals Jeff Pestana and Rafael Loera went at it. The two battled throughout the race, with Pestana in front until Loera made the pass, winning the first moto.
Other classes that had the crowd captivated were the 250 Novice and the 450 Novice divisions. Branden Vasquez won first overall in both classes, and had a massive lead in both races. During his second 450 Novice moto, he ran second to Kevin Finerty until overtaking the lead in the waning moments.
The next stop on the Muscle Milk TWMX Race Series NorCal Fall Cup schedule is Club Moto in Livermore, California on September 22nd. Online entry is available until September 20th at 9am. See you at the track…
