The Daytona Supercross is unlike anything professional racers in the United States face on the rigorous schedule. Held at night on the infield of the iconic Daytona Motor Speedway, it is a Supercross style layout built on the vicious platform of a National. The track is mostly soft soil and sand, which develops bottomless ruts throughout the mile long circuit and puts racers on the edge at all times. If you make it through Daytona without issue, the rest of the year is breeze. Jeff Kardas captured the action from this year’s running where Blake Baggett and Ryan Villopoto, two riders known for their outdoor prowess, took convincing wins.
