The American Made Bed Buddy is designed to strengthen the front of your trucks bed to prevent it from bowing into the cab when pulling your bikes down tight. Works pretty well. Has some flex outside the end bolts. For two bikes I tend to use the middle tie down on the bar and for the outer hooks I use the tie downs from my truck. This gives the most security as it avoids flexing the bar. If I was to reinstall it I would just create my own drill points and move the outer bolts farther toward the end of the bar. Thus eliminating any flex. I do really like this product. Though now that I have it I seem to be the designated driver. I you buy this product make your friends buy one too!
