Catching Up With… Darryn Durham
The Millville National is always a favorite among many of us moto fans as it is a race in which we welcome all of the fresh faces from the amateur world into the professional ranks. However, while the likes of Blake Wharton, PJ Larson, and Ben Lamay all made the jump to the outdoor National circuit this summer, Pennsylvannia’s Darryn Durham had to sit back and watch on as his peers took part in the last three Nationals of the season. Now, however, Durham has been released from his amateur contract with Suzuki to join the Yamaha of Troy squad for the upcoming 2009 season. Elmo caught up with the likable Pennsylvannia native not too long ago at the Yamaha test track to check in with him…

I’ve watched DoubleD ride alot. I live like 3hrs from him (no joke). I’ve watched him lay wood at HighPoint LLQ’s and throw some neasty 1feeters off the finish line! That kid is a trip to watch. Good Luck Darryn!!!
