In addition to being the title sponsor of the Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki team, Monster Energy has signed a personal sponsorship deal with Ryan Villopoto. That said, RV2 will wear a black and green M helmet full time, joining Tim Ferry, Grant Langston and Jason Lawrence in the Monster Army.

No, Villapoto is sponsored by Monster, he doesn’t ride for monster. He rides for Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki, hence J-Law not being on Pro Circuit they do not ride on the same ‘team’.

jlaw is technically a privateer, he puts money into his own team… villopoto is on the factory kawi team… i am sponsored by my local dealership.. but we are not a team, they just provide me with parts… jlaw and ryan get money from monster, so they wear theyre symbol… it has nothing to do with a team.!

the j-law and villopoto thing yes they are both sponsored by monster but so is RC and a whole bunch of other riders out there as an amatuer does that mean im teammates with RV and J-law and even the GOAT? no they are all just sponsored by the same company not team mates
