I would ride like this too if hitting the rev limiter was fine for a bike

  • mxracer34 Says:

why does it sound like all the geico honda bikes have no power?

  • RacerX221 Says:

he was hittin the limiter a bit much but he was haulin’… ah, that great honda power..

  • Anonymous Says:

    Honda For The Win ^^

  • JG Says:

The only time he hit the limiter was in the air. Its not the geico bikes that sound like that, its the hondas in general. The dual exhaust has a sound of its own. The stock bike makes more power long before it hits the limiter, but these bikes are tuned to make more power @ higher rpms, hince running them at the verge of hitting the limiter.

  • rv2fan Says:

im in no way a pro, but by judging other riders hes got more work to do. who knows if he was just taking it easy though.

  • R Schroyer Says:

WOW! i thought just the opposite! Brett was flying !!!!!!

  • Cmac28 Says:

You guys have no idea. He is riding like a demon.
Most riders that have balls redline a bike when they are beyond beginner status. You fairys would probably wet your pants if your 2nd hand sh!t heaps hit 2000rpm.
get off the PS3 and stop writing junk. Metty is going to kill 09.

  • Dirtydane Says:

i agree, he looked reall good. Troy Adams is the only one in my opinion that didnt look good in this latest “riding with…”

  • aaron Says:

hondas are the best bike out there… he was flyin and kyle got dusted and he is on a 450 kyle should jus give up he is slow as sh!t

  • D Smiff Says:

Metty looks good…And he still has 4 more weeks(East Coast) to get dialed in. You wussies have no idea how much work goes into competing at an elite level. If you did you would hold your tongue and just appreciate the video. “RV2Fan” you remind me of the guy at the local track with the clean gear and perfect parking lot riding style but once you get on the track YOU straight up Suck.

  • Poppa Wheelie Says:

Looked like some pretty sloppy riding to me. Kyle looked way better than that…

  • miller251 Says:

    Lookin pretty BAD*SS to me…

  • 621rm Says:

i will agree no matter what bike u ride he was a lil on the highside for the rev limiter. but corner speed was bitchin and he looked comfortable on the bike

  • johnny Says:

You are a goon if you think metty isn’t hauling ass, and who cares if he’s on the rev limiter? not me. He’s gonna do some damage for sure.

  • Jonathan Says:

all of yall that thinks he is hitting the rev limiter are crazy! He aint even close to it. Yall must be goons or dont ride with fast riders. you have to ride mod bikes like that.

  • Grinson Says:

Wow, I think he was riding great, looked very fast. Especially in the whoops, he had those dialed in perfectly.

And i didn’t hear anything bad, sounded fine to me. I mean, the bike is a race machine, its made to be ridden like that.

On the other hand, watching the video of Kyle, i thouhgt he wasn’t in his best moment, seemed like he was lugging the bike too much and just wasn’t really riding to his full potential.

  • thums520 Says:

yeah i thought the same, totally off the pace of all the other guys, and he never switched up his lines, just the same lines over and over

  • murphy Says:

looked like he was flying to me

The way he’s riding is just how he likes to. when you have that much backing, you can have the motor tuned to put the power wherever you want it to be in the powerband. I have my CRF250R set up similarly, and it loves to be screamed around, just about to hit the rev limiter

  • wera308 Says:

Yeah he looks good, that shit looks like a blast! That soil looked perfect. I’m jealous I can’t find anything but mud lately

  • Eric Says:

Okay if the track was a little more dry, you’d see/hear Metty lugging it a little. But come on, a honda, let alone a 250f on a prime track like that! i didn’t hear ANYTHING wrong with it… He was killing it

For the record:”thums520″ he changed his lines plenty and if you didn’t notice, your a spode

  • colinheitshusen Says:

well its either how he rides or the hondas just have more speed up top but i dont know much about these factory hondas

  • yoohoo Says:

agreed. bikes rip. he looks fast, metcalfe for east title. i think he will walk away with the title. JBS259 domination like.

  • mikebrownsound Says:

Why does it sounds like the honda have no power? Dude, those are equal with Pro circuit Kawasaki, and Makita suzuki and whatever factory 250F that is out there. Remember, these engines are not at all equal with a stock, they have so much more power we cant believe it! And each rider prefer to have their engine prepped just ” as they want” that means,

Trey Canard and Brett metcalfe maybe have certain areas in the powerband that is opposit of one another. Brett maybe like to run a lower gear, and then they have made the transmission and power to work good in low gear, you name it! I think brett look as good as he did on the pro circuit kawasaki, if not even better? He just throw that honda around like it was a 85cc ! Not even on the kawi i´ve seem him do that! He will be a contender for sure!

Remember that Josh Grant & Trey Canards Geico Powersports honda dominated last year, at least trey, And kevin windham on the big geico powersports honda came second in the big class ! I really love the Geico Powersports, and matter of fact, Mich Payton is the one ” making the motors ” under contract! So what we se is a HONDA pro circuit bike with ” different suspensions and ” some other aftermarket products ” so we know that this bikes ripps! I hope brett will have a solid year! He deserves it!

  • mikebrownsound Says:

Not only aftermarkets products, of course some factory trickness that we never will get our hands on! Their technology is proven and is good as heck!

Just to name some of their equipment

    Showa A kit forks
Factory Connection magic tuning / some parts tuning not for public bying.

TCR hubs and Excel wheels are insane 5 star products

Using a pressurized cooling system ” together with overseize
    radiators! not for public buying

Factory Honda Tripple clamps not for public buying

Oil Cooling system to, not for public buying!

    Renthal handlebars

    Tag Sprockets

Titanium footpegs not for public buying

Pro Circuits Engine & custom pro circuit pipes ” not for public buying of the exhaust and some of the engine parts”

    Cycra plastics

Dunlop Factory tires not for sale to public
    R.K Chain

    Twin Air filters

And they also have a in-house work with motor department and of course the suspension! So the Geico Factory Connection Honda is one of the biggest team out there! Its a piece of art!
And a heck of working testing, dyno, what ever it may be!

dude, dont say get off the ps3.. your commenting a video… if you’re as mature as you try to sound on these comments… dont waste your time commenting… btw, you dont even make sense.. “…if your 2nd hand sh.t heaps hit 2000 rpm” ??? shouldnt you be riding somwhere?

  • bendar Says:

which then makes it such a beautiful thing when a pivateer whoops a factoy riders ass!!!

  • overrev Says:

yoo dogg my kawasaki sounds like that too. my bike has a procircuit motor in it and my stock sounded the same its just how u ride. if u want to come into a turn fast and get out fast ur on the GASS!!!!!! and if u know u can ride the rev out without having to shift and that will slow u down cuz u have to shift down again neway so just leave it in the same gear and rev it to the turn.. not rolling around and wait till the bike is out of the turn cmac i know what u saying i agree

  • dirtbikedavis Says:

Seems to me he was peggin it a bit much but i cant say crap cus i cant ride that fast thanks for the video swap.
