We found J-Law! Well, maybe he was never even missing…
Anyway, we ran into the Western Region Supercross Lites Champion today and we must say that Jason Lawrence is looking good and absolutely hauling ass. Yeah, we said ass. We’re allowed to when we’re writing about the Bad Boy of Motocross, you see…
On a serious note, Lawrence did look calm, cool and collected as he cut laps on his Boost Mobile/AM PM/Monster Energy/Troy Racing YZ250F, and he had plenty of interesting things to say. Check back first thing in the morning for his video interview.

jlaw is good for the sport, he has good social skills. people are getting tired of all these home schooled kids with no social skills and bland personalities. seriously they get on the podium and piss themselves while naming every sponsor printed on their fenders. Bike looks SICK!!! Black plastic with black rims and the white fender for a nice added touch. Much better than the stock lookin yamie the factory yamaha guys run.

YEAH THEY GOT THE BIKE LOOK FROM RINALDI YAMAHA ON GP’S. MOST GUYS PROLLY DONT KNOW THE STUFF ON GP’S THIS YR IS GOING TO BE IN USA NEXT YR. JOSH COPPINS AND DAVID PHILLIPEARTS RAN THOSE COLORS LAST YR. BLACK WAS ORIGINALLY USED BY HONDA NOW YAMAHA IS USING IT. BMW IS USING IT AS A BASIC COLOR ON ALL ITS MOTOCROSS BIKES. YEAH BMW HAS ENDURO NOW THEY SIGNED DAVID KNIGHT WORLD CHAMP AND THEY WILL HAVE MOTOCROSS BIKES 2010. LETS HOPE THE NEW LAW AMA IS FIGHTING DOES NOT GET PASSED. IF IT DOES ALL EUROPEAN BIKES WILL COST TWICE AS MUCH INCLUDING KTM.

Bike looks good, but he needs a hair cut! I think he is a tool, and should have been booted from the sport long ago. He is not the best influence out there on the young kids watching this sport. I can’t believe the sponsors still let him promote their product, as he is not professional at all. Theere are tons of great riders out there, with a lot better image, that should have gotten a ride before this freak!

I think and hope he’ll take the supercross title. I think what hes doing with his own team is good and something I think there should be more of. I like the idea that you don’t have to be a factory rider to be competetive in a supercross.

Wasted talent I think not–he’s already accomplished what many will only dream of and has undeniably provided his fans with a boat load of entertainment. I’m gettin tired of the 2 way battles. Maybe the AMA can pick a winner before the season starts and keep us in suspense till the end. With all the politics in competition I’m sure that J-law is not responsible for everything but is getting pushed out. Maybe next week someone will drop some illegal gas in his pit or something. It would be good to see a tight mix of more riders contending for the title. The ama should be looking for excuses to keep him in.. not send him out.

I don’t understand what image/haircuts/looks/personality have to do with being fast!?! He was’nt given anything, he earned it by winning race, after race, after race, and so on, throughout his young career. So he does’nt play well with others. A true champion is’nt there to play,or make friends. He’s there to win. The only thing that should matter is what happens in the time between the gate drop and the checkered flag! Webster’s dictionary defines race as a “contest of speed”– if they can keep it that simple, why can’t you?? The same concept applies concerning Michael Phelps’ struggle to simply enjoy his personal life and be a champion.
