Power Bands

Have you ever wondered why your bike doesn’t have that extra grunt to get you through a loamy berm at your local track? It’s probably because it’s not hitting the powerband. Or it could be that you didn’t even have it installed… All kidding aside, these cleverly named rubber bands actually work really well for working out. Just ask Broc Hepler. The pink Power Bands are exactly how he got his rippling biceps. Ok really, we don’t even know what you would use these for aside from holding together a bundle of zip ties or a rolled up inner tube.

aww sweet i need more power

  • mike legrand Says:

brocs not using the right power band, you have to go with the purple power band and make sure your muffler bearings are good. that could throw your whole moto off

  • Jeremy Reddekopp Says:

Yeah i heard bubba had a platinum powerband attached to his gold piston return spring in his kawi.

maybe thats why nobody could touch him

Also, if you run 40-50 pounds of canadian winter air in your tires you dont need to have the tubes in your tubeless tires anymore.

  • sauce51 Says:

it also helps if you add fresh radiator sand before motos too

  • Leo Speedwagon Says:

Why not use a zip tie to hold the Powerbands together? Actually JLaw flicks them at his fellow competitors at the start to annoy them and psyche them out.

  • Josh MX87 pdc Says:

ok. really? I use the green power bands and they seem to work out better when coming out of those silly turns. Green powerband = A lot more power. The pinks ones are good quality for the zip tie guys but not for me.

do they mix well with race fuel in a two stroke??? and do they smake bad?

  • asdf57 Says:

it only works if u remeber to add sugar to your gas before each moto and dry sand in your airbox

  • racerx711 Says:

i think your best bet would be the rainbow power bands, they just cover a wider range of…..power. heck you could even use 'em to wrap your arms to your side for better airo dynamics and you could strap yourself to the seat so you dont fall off. and for longer life of your power bands you should mix baking soda and vinegar in with your crankcase oil, this eliminates your your cylinder linkage from seizing.

LOL. 20 years ago had a guy call me at auto zone the day I started working there in high school. Asked for a water pump for a vw bug. And a muffler bearing. I told him to pound sand. It was the boss….luckily we all laughed about it.

  • JohnnyBoy Says:

I dunno guys, theres a huker duker valve in every 2010 lineup…I believe these power bands will interfere with 'em.

  • swag nasty Says:

well the yellow power bands work really good in the corners and when you put bout a pound of saw dust in the bottom end it really gives her a kick.

  • poopsicle Says:
