We headed to the track today to snap shots of some of the bikes you’ll see out on the track this weekend at the opening round of the Monster Energy Supercross Series at Anaheim. As has been the case at most opening rounds in the past, we were pretty blown away by how cool and trick most of the bikes in the pits were. Even though there are a lot of photos, be sure to click through them all to take a close look at the one-off parts that we found and the attention to detail that goes into each machine.
Chad Reed’s factory TwoTwo Motorsports/Honda CRF450R is a work of art. It’s almost upsetting that it’s going to be raced tomorrow at Anaheim.
Not only does James Stewart have an all-new look with his new Seven gear, but his Yoshimura Suzuki RM-Z450 has also received a make over with new graphics and some uber-trick yellow Showa forks.
Ken Roczen will be starting his assault on the 250 West Coast series tomorrow night. His Red Bull KTM is dialed in. And since last year, he had made a few changes to his settings and controls. One interesting fact: He runs his clutch lever lower than his front brake lever.
