After months of anticipation, the 2015 Monster Energy Supercross season is set to kick off. The first event of the seventeen round series takes place at Angels Stadium of Anaheim in Anaheim, California, and is one of the three visits we will make to the venue over the course of the next two months. With two of the sport’s top riders out of action this season (Ryan Villopoto has bypassed the series in favor of racing in Europe, James Stewart is serving a sixteen month period of ineligibility by the FIM/WADA for an anti-doping issue), this year’s 450 class championship is open to nearly anyone in the class. The perennial favorites (Chad Reed, Ryan Dungey, Davi Millsaps, Trey Canard) will face-off against a crop of young challengers (Dean Wilson, Ken Roczen, Eli Tomac, Jason Anderson, Wil Hahn, Cole Seely) over the next five months before the title is ultimately decided. And of course, one cannot forget the rising stars of the 250 West Coast Regional Championship.

Since so many changes occurred this offseason, we recommend you have a look at our prior previews of both the 450 and 250 classes. In them you will see what team and rider pairings have transpired, along with a slight rundown of what to expect from the talented field…
