AMA members get discounts on Supercross and Arenacross Tickets and a Free Pit Pass

From www.amadirectlink.com:

Membership has its privileges. Always has, always will.

And now, being an AMA member means you can enjoy the spectacle of the Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series—and save some serious cash.

For the 2007 season, AMA members can get discounted tickets and a free pit pass at Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series and Toyota AMA Arenacross Series events.

To get $5 off your ticket price (except tickets that cost $15 or less, or children’s tickets), just order your Supercross tickets online at www.supercrossonline.com and use the AMA code available only to AMA members. The same process works for Arenacross tickets at www.arenacross.com.

You can find the AMA discount code in the Members Only section of this website. Just click here to go to Members Only right now and look for the link in the top-right corner of the page. You must be signed in to access the code.

If you haven’t yet registered for Members Only, now’s a good time. It’s free to all AMA members and only takes a minute or two. Just use your AMA number and your ZIP code to get started, then choose a user name and password.

You can also find the AMA discount code in the special Supercross Preview supplement included with the January issue of American Motorcyclist magazine.

If you don’t want to order tickets online, you can also get the discount by going to the event box office before the day of the race and showing the ticket seller your AMA membership card. As an AMA member, you can buy up to four tickets per event—and get a $5 discount on each ticket.

There are just a few restrictions: The discount is only good for tickets you buy prior to race day. Tickets purchased on the day of the event don’t qualify. Also, the discount isn’t available at the Anaheim, Daytona and Las Vegas rounds.

To get one free pit pass, which costs non-AMA members $10, just show your AMA membership card at the event box office pit pass window on the day of the event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. You must also show a valid ticket for the event to get the free pit pass.

It’s that simple. Like the ticket-price discount, the free pit pass isn’t available at the Daytona race or at venues where the pits are closed to the public. At Las Vegas, your race ticket is also a pit pass.
