AURORA, Ill. (January 20, 2006) ¿ The Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series returns for another exciting season of racing on XM Radio. The partnership with XM Radio is entering into its fourth season where the Saturday night races will be broadcast on XM Radio’s `Extreme XM Channel 152′ live from 9:00 p.m. ¿ 11:00 p.m. local time.
XM Radio will broadcast a condensed, two-hour program of the widely popular Supercross LIVE! webcast, on www.supercross.cc.com, every Saturday night during the season. Supercross LIVE! announcers Jim Holley and Jason Weigandt will call the race live from the press box, bringing all the racing action into hundreds of thousands of homes nationwide.
The 2005-2006 Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series is shaping up to be the most-competitive, most-watched season in the 35-year history of the sport. In addition to the XM Radio broadcast and Supercross LIVE! internet broadcast, this season’s hotly-contested battle between rivals Ricky Carmichael, Chad Reed and James Stewart is being brought to increased television viewership through the CBS Sports/SPEED programming package.

Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP is a 17-round global off-road motorcycle stadium racing circuit. Riders must compete in the international rounds to be eligible to win the world championship.
