Amp’d Supercross Adds Next Level Sports Management to PR Team

AURORA, Ill. (November 23, 2005) ¿ Clear Channel Entertainment’s Motor Sports division announced today that Next Level Sports Management has been retained to assist in PR and media coordination for the 2005-2006 Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series.

Next Level will be represented by Tony Gardea, a 15 year veteran of the sport and a former PR Director for Mickey Thompson Entertainment Group, who co-produced the supercross series with PACE Motor Sports in the early-1990s. In addition to his previous event experience, he also handled the PR for Team Kawasaki’s professional motocross program where he attracted excellent publicity for team riders, including Ricky Carmichael and James Stewart.

Gardea will team with Clear Channel’s Director of Media Relations Denny Hartwig to cover the 17-race Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series, implementing an expansive PR plan that builds on the sport’s popularity while widening the horizons for new growth and awareness.

About Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP¿/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series

Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP is a 17-round global series that is produced and promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment and Dorna Off Road S.L.  The Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series is a 16-round national series within the United States that is produced and promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment, with the exception of the event held in Daytona Beach, Fl. that is independently produced by the International Speedway Corporation and also is not a part of the Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP.
