Brian Deegan and Metal Mulisha Out in Full Force at X Games 13

Los Angeles, CA – July 31, 2007 – Metal Mulisha, the world’s most infamous freestyle motocross team, led by freestyle moto icon Brian Deegan, is competing for freestyle motocross’s biggest honor this week during X Games 13 in Los Angeles. Representing more than half the field in Moto X Freestyle, 4 riders in Best Trick, and Deegan hitting Step Up again, the Mulisha is front and center to bring home Gold!

Metal Mulisha co-founder Brian Deegan will be declaring why he is the winningest X Games Freestyle Moto rider in history when he takes on the rest of the field in Moto X Best Trick and Moto X Step Up. Mulisha stand-outs Todd Potter and Jeremy Lusk both garnered their first invites to X Games in not one but two disciplines, – Moto X Best Trick and Moto X Freestyle. Other Mulisha members battling for supremacy are founding members Ronnie Faisst and Jeremy “Twitch Stenberg, both coming back from major injuries sustained last year during competition. Mulisha’s newest member, Japan’s own Takayuki “Taka Higashino will makes his debut at Summer X as well.

Moto X Best Trick finals are Thursday, August 2nd live on ESPN at 7:00 PM PST at the Staples Center, Moto X Step Up finals are Friday August 3rd, live on ESPN at 7:00 PM PST at the Staples Center and Moto X Freestyle finals are Saturday, August 4th live on ESPN at 6:00 PM PST with actual “finals” starting at 7:00 PM at the Home Depot Center.

In addition to competing in 2 major events, Brian Deegan is also pulling broadcast duty for ESPN, providing color commentary for the Moto X Freestyle portion of the event.

Competing members of the Metal Mulisha, as well as several other team members, will be signing autographs at the X Facotry at X Fest at Home Depot Center, Saturday from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM and on Sunday from 11:00 AM to 12 Noon. The Metal Mulisha will also be signing at the Skinnie Magazine booth, Saturday from 2:30 PM to 3:00 PM.

Metal Mulisha is comprised of over 20 athletes, representing several sports disciplines, including Supercross, Ultimate Fighting and most of the top freestyle motocross athletes in the world!
