While mother nature gave us a break from the actual thunderstorms, round three of the 2014 Lucas Oil Pro Motocross Championship at Thunder Valley in Lakewood, Colorado, slammed down with plenty of racing action, as both classes featured two new moto winners and lap after lap of intense battles. Jeremy Martin’s dominate win streak came to an end in the 250 class, and Blake Baggett stepped up to take his first win of the year after coming through the pack and then running away with the moto two win. James Stewart also found his stride in the Colorado hills, and the Yoshimura Suzuki rider fended off the powerful Red Bull KTM duo of Ken Roczen and Ryan Dungey in 450 moto one for his first win of the season. But Ken Roczen once again claimed the overall after a brilliant second moto performance that the rest of the class couldn’t top.
