Madera, California may be better known for its agricultural products than top motocross riders, but that could very well change with the emergence of Casey Hinson. The American Suzuki-backed 16-year-old is poised to turn a lot of heads at the amateur national races in 2005 and The Syndicate is proud to welcome him aboard.
2004 started well for Hinson, who scored multiple holeshots and five top-five finishes in the “B classes at the Spring races in Texas. An unfortunate series of mechanical failures limited his results at Loretta Lynn’s, but he finished the year in style by scoring a couple of top three overall finishes at the RM Cup and sweeping all Intermediate class action at the California Supercross in November.
In 2005, Hinson’s schedule will again include all of the amateur nationals along with some of the larger regional series on the west coast. He also plans to ride as many Supercross style events as possible to continue honing those skills that will be so important in the future. His absolutely dominating performance on the grueling California Supercross track was a good indicator of his progress in that department.
