CBS Sports Presents One Hour Preview Show of Amp’d Mobile Supercross on Christmas

AURORA, Ill. (December 21, 2005) ¿ In a never-been-seen-before production of Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP/Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series, CBS Sports will ¿ for the first time ever ¿ broadcast a one-hour preview show of the sport’s highly anticipated 2005-’06 season December 25 at 5:00 p.m. EST.

Composed of more than 20 hours of unparalleled supercross footage and interviews, this one-hour preview show will continue to build the excitement of the current 2005-’06 season to a fever pitch.

The show’s opening highlights the spectacle of supercross, then tells the story of the world’s top riders, including reigning World Supercross GP/AMA Supercross Series champion Ricky Carmichael, current Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP points leader James Stewart and former World Supercross GP/AMA Supercross Series champion Chad Reed.

Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP is a 17-round global series that is produced and promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment and Dorna Off Road S.L.  The Amp’d Mobile AMA Supercross Series is a 16-round national series within the United States that is produced and promoted by Clear Channel Entertainment, with the exception of the event held in Daytona Beach, Fl. that is independently produced by the International Speedway Corporation and also is not a part of the Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP.
