Chaplin Places in Main Event!
Chaplin, CT – What an absolutely unbelievable day it was Saturday in Atlanta, GA for the Chaplin Kawasaki race team. With a crowd of almost 70,000 fans watching Ricky Renner shoot through and got the holeshot at the start of the Supercross Lites LCQ. Staying strong throughout the race Renner was able to maintain his position in becoming one of the top four who would earn a place at the starting gate for the main event. Renner put his head down in the heavily rutted conditions finishing 17th out of 22 in the night show.
Robby Marshall coming off a serious injury from last year struggled throughout the day in finding his rhythm on one of the most technical tracks of the season. Marshall is looking forward to Indy in hopes of gaining momentum for the rest of the season.
