Carlsbad, California, March 2, 2004 — Crown Athlete Management Group (Crown AMG) would like to welcome legendary Arenacross Champion, Buddy “Budman Antunez to its staff after the announcement of his retirement from racing at the end of the series banquet in February. Budman will take a different approach to racing. The Arenacross champion will not participate in racing as a competitor, but on the other side of the coin as an athlete manager. “I am excited to be working with Crown AMG! I believe that we are the future of the industry, states Antunez. Budman is currently in negotiations with a variety of riders…stay tuned.

Buddy “Budman Antunez, born in Ontario, California, is a five-time Arenacross champion with 107 career wins. Prior to his retirement, Budman finished 3rd in the 02-03 Areanacross Series, 4th in the 2002 125 East Supercross Series, and placed 7th in the 2002 Outdoor National MX Series. Antunez was injured for the duration of the 2003/2004 seasons. Antunez now resides in Temecula, California and is married to Shelly, has one daughter Bailey, and a son named Boston.
