Buffalo, NY–Dunlop Motorcycle Tires congratulates Honda riders Josh Grant and Davi Millsaps for their outstanding performances at round two of the 2007 AMA Motocross Championship held at High Point Raceway in Mt. Morris, Pennsylvania, May 26-27.
High humidity and 90-degree temperatures did little to slow Grant, whose 1-3 moto finishes on the SoBe No Fear/Samsung/Honda Racing CRF250R delivered Dunlop’s first win in the 2007 AMA Motocross Lites season. Grant is now third overall in the Motocross Lites standings. Millsaps, the 2006 AMA Supercross Lites East Champion, put in a strong 4-3 finish on his Honda Racing-tuned CRF450R in big-bore Motocross competition and now sits fourth in series points.
Millsaps utilized Dunlop’s over-the-counter D756RR production tire, a next-generation, pro-level motocross tire, to nail three consecutive holeshots in three of the first four motos of the year. The D756RR is proven to give riders an advantage on starts and a reduction in lap times compared to the standard D756. Available to consumers, the latest-generation D756RR provides consistent control for today’s high-torque, high-horsepower four-stroke racing bikes.
Watch for Grant, Millsaps and the rest of the Dunlop-sponsored riders to push to the front of the pack at round three of the 2007 AMA Motocross Championship at Motocross 338 in Southwick, Massachusetts, June 9-10.
