FBC/Honda Arenacross Team Gets Their First Podium

The fourth round of the National Arenacross Series took place in Hampton, VA. That is where the newly formed FBC / PPG / Troy Lee Designs / Honda team received their first podium finish.  Shane Bess obtained 2nd in Friday night’s 125 main event.

Shane indicated, “I felt good all night.  It was great to get second in the 125, but I was really looking forward to winning the race, before I made a little mistake and lost some focus.  Second place is great, but I am anxious to win a couple of these races, which I know I am capable of and I have the bike and support from the team to do it.

In Saturday night’s 250 main event, Brad Hagseth finished just off of the podium in 4th.  Brad stated, “I am feeling a lot better and more and more comfortable every week.  The injury to my hand has hindered my potential on the track, but it is getting better every week.  I am already looking forward to a little time off before the next round in Rockford, IL on December 3 and hope to improve on my results.

Brad and Shane both showed they have the speed and determination to win races.  With three top five finishes, it was the team’s strongest showing yet.  They will use the time off to work on fine tuning everything for the next round in Rockford, IL.

The team would like to wish all of the sponsors and their families, along with all of the fans, a Safe and Happy Thanksgiving.
