Houston, TX. The Fifth Annual Garrett Michael Berg — Remembering Those Who Rode — Memorial Race will be held Sunday, October 1, 2006 at San Jacinto Cycle Park in Splendora, TX (just north of Houston).
The Remembering Those Who Rode memorial race, started after the death of Garrett Berg, is held to honor those riders that have lost their life in the sport we all love, motocross. Participants share a bond beyond that of just racing against one-another, as racers, families, and friends that have lost someone close to them come together to share memories, celebrate their lives and help one another find a way to make it through the dark days after losing a loved one.
All proceeds from the race go to the GMB Memorial Fund which is used to assist motocross families that have lost a loved one.
