The world¿s top riders from the 250cc, 125cc, 85cc and KJSC divisions will compete this weekend inside the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas October 7 & 8.
¿This year¿s U.S. Open not only has a loaded 250cc class, but an equally talented 125cc line-up ¿ with riders such as former 125cc supercross champion Stephane Roncada and factory Honda¿s Andrew Short,¿ said Todd Jendro, senior director of operations, Clear Channel Entertainment – Motorsports. ¿The top riders from this summer¿s Loretta Lynn¿s Amateur National Championship round out the 85cc class.¿
The U.S. Open will air on NBC for the second consecutive year Sunday, October 23 from 4:30 ¿ 6:00 p.m. EST. The 2004 U.S. Open aired on NBC for the first time ever and earned an impressive 2.1 overnight Nielsen rating, making it the second largest watched television audience for off-road motorcycle racing ever.
