Watsonville, CA — November 11, 2006 — FOX Racing Shox announces their PODIUM X shock is now available for the KTM SX 50 (04-07 models). “Over the past 2 years, our PODIUM X has become the shock absorber of choice for some of mini motocross’ top racers. Now with the addition of the KTM SX 50 model to our 2007 line-up, even more young up-coming racers will be able to improve their performance and results on the track and the trails, stated Michael Daws, V.P. of FOX’s PowerSports Division.
For 2007, all PODIUM X for mini motocross applications will feature aluminum body, piggyback reservoir, rebound adjust and now customers can choose either a Low Speed Compression adjust (LSC) or our new Dual Speed Compression adjust (DSC). The new DSC is a completely new design, from a clean sheet of paper and offers a significantly wider range of compression adjustability, which offers racers a wide range of compression adjustment without compromise. Riders can adjust the shock’s high and low speed compression damping by simply turning the external adjusters. This independent tuning of both compression circuits allows the rider to maximize small bump compliance and traction while still having the extra damping required for those big hits.
The PODIUM X also has a wide-range rebound adjuster with 22 clicks for an amazing tuning range as well as the Dual Preload Ring Adjust System which are locked together to ensure that preload settings do not change.
The PODIUM X shock for KTM SX 50 will retail for $459.00 (LSC) and $559.00 (DSC). Call 1-800-FOX-SHOX to order.
