Drugs, alcohol, partying, fighting, and jail are not acceptable ways to bring drama to a sport that is fighting to be in the mainstream. Let him rot in jail.

no we are jealous because we dont have the money to be a waste of skin, do drugs and just be a waste to society and basically have magazines that keep kissing our butt because we bring "drama" to racing. I hate when Transworld gives him print but im not stupid enough to cancel my subscription because of it like alot of people claim to do. I just flip past the Jason Lawrence page without giving him any attention usually. I wont go to an outdoor national with him there and instead went to a couple of atv nationals. You guys gotta see Dustin Wimmer ride!

Does anybody remember the Loretta's interview where Lawrence said Villopoto was supposed to be the next big thing but he didnt know where he was? Well Lawrence, in the past few years he has run away with 3 125 class titles, a west coast supercross title and had a couple of supercross and 1 outdoor national win last year. He is tearing it up with a great factory team called Kawasaki and is the heir apparent to our sport. Personally I hope he kills it next year. Just thought I would let you know in case you missed him in between all the drinking and such you have going on. Your Welcome man!

you mean Ron Lechien and Brian Deegan? What Deegan won the 1990 something los angeles supercross and really didnt do the stuff that Lawrence does as far as being in the public eye and doing it and I dont think Ron Lechien is frequently mentioned along with Ricky Carmichael and Roger DeCoster.

The kid is wheezing by the end of 10 laps and to think he would beat horses like Stewart, RV, Reed, Grant, even Brayton now… Maybe once in a great while but not consistently. You and I know the only thing this kid does with tthat consistency is get himself into trouble. Hes an adult now, the time for hand holding is over with, unless those hands are in handcuffs. I have a young son and I wont ever let him listen to an interview or watch anything with this kid because I dont want him to learn that stuff.

There's a disgrace in every sport. I think the biggest example would be all the NFL football players. At least he isn't out getting arrested for drugs like NFL players. It was just a fight and some other minor stuff, get over it.

This comment is for Swap and Transworld staff, I realize that you like Lawrence for the amount of attention that he brings to the sport and everyone is talking about him good or bad. You have the best MX mag and Im glad to be a subscriber. What I am asking is, is there anything this kid could do to where you would not give him this type of exposure anymore or do you see yourselves as just reporting the news? I know most of you are fathers and is this someone you would want your kids to look up to? Not for the fact that he can ride a dirtbike, I mean Mike Tyson was a great boxer but I wouldnt want my kids looking up to him either. Yes you are right he is a BAMF on a bike, but people have been saying exactly what your saying "if he has his head on straight" The kid hasn't had his head on straight since he became pro. Everyone has been saying "if he has his head on straight" he will be just fine and may be at the top of the sport and I totally agree. However he's been in the pro division for years and everyone has been saying that from the very beginning. The simple answer is he is never going to change, he's never going to quit F-ing up, thats just the way he is and he doesn't care.
