Today we were invited out to up-and-coming freestyle motocross rider Bryce Hudson’s riding compound to shoot some photos and hang out with him and his riding buddies Adam Jones and Brody Wilson. Jones—a resident of Nevada—doesn’t get to ride in Southern California much, however, the traveling Nuclear Cowboyz show that him and Wilson are a part of is in town this weekend. Between the three of them, we managed to capture some pretty cool images.
The price of admission to Hudson’s compound? You have to shovel the berm while he supervises.
Bryce Hudson might not be a well-known name in FMX just yet, but his bag of tricks is growing at an exponential rate. His flip trick variations are big, his right-side up tricks are strong, and whips are huge.
In FMX, Jones has made a name for himself with his huge up-side-down combos like this gigantic Cliff-Hanger flip. Throughout the day, he threw down until he was sure we got what we needed.
The last time we shot with Wilson, he was aboard a 250cc two-stroke. From the looks of his riding today, though, the switch to a four-stroke hasn’t affected his riding negatively.
