Valencia, CA October 11th, 2006- Girlyz Clothing Co.- A company dedicated to bringing high quality riding gear to the motocross and power sports industry- announces today that Pro WMA riders Katie McGuire, Kaide Garrett, and Lindsay Jellito will unveil the Girlyz 2007 race gear, “Vision, at the US Open October 15, 2006.
With so much excitement surrounding the U.S. Open, the team at Girlyz thought this was a great opportunity to show the world the newest race gear available for women. Girlyz President, Jeannie King, exclaims “We want every woman to know Girlyz has set the standards for women’s gear in this industry. Girlyz has made it possible for women to get high quality gear without sacrificing feminine appeal. Not only do we take pride in our accomplishment, but are honored that we will have three girls representing Girlyz on the track. The US open designates the first opportunity the public has to see the entire line of race gear.
McGuire, Garrett, and Jelitto join a list of accomplished women riders for Sunday’s event. The Women’s Pro class is open only to those invited by WMA president Miki Keller. Invites are based on point standings during the 2006 Hitachi WMA/AMA National Motocross Championship Series. With great enthusiasm, McGuire said: I am very excited about this opportunity. Not only am I one of the first to compete in Girlyz race gear, but I get to do it at the US Open!
