As the two week break comes to an end, and the next round of the Lucas Oil AMA Motocross Championships in Unadilla quickly approaches, riders and teams are staying sharp for the last push of the series. During the outdoor season, every day of the week in Southern California draws top-level pros to various tracks and Thursdays at Glen Helen Raceway are one of the most popular times for riders to get some last minute track time in before race weekend. This week, Yoshimura Suzuki’s James Stewart, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Jake Weimer, Yamahalube/Star Racing/Yamaha’s Cooper Webb, and Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s newcomer Chris Alldredge were all hard at work, as we snapped some photos of the action. Following this day of riding, however, we received word that James Stewart would not be competing at Unadilla, citing lingering medical issues. Click the link below for more information on that. It’s also worth noting, that Alldredge will be making his rookie professional debut this weekend after a very successful amateur career with Team Green Kawasaki. He will be added to the list of speedy amateurs that will likely be racing this weekend.
Find out about why James Stewart isn’t racing Unadilla.
