Current Regional Arenacross Champion, Jeff Willoh, to Pursue Record Purse and Payout in Advanstar’s New Series.
Santa Ana, CA – October 19, 2005 – Advanstar Communications, Inc. – a leading provider of print, event and online media for the powersports, off-road and automotive aftermarket industries – today announced that GPS Racing/Storm Lake Honda.com will bring their team to the K&N Filters presents BooKoo Arenacross Championship Series for 2005-2006 in order to gain more exposure for sponsors as well as better opportunities for riders.
Last years regional Arenacross champion, ‘Prime Time’ Jeff Willoh, will lead Brad ‘Main Event’ Modjewski and Curt McCabe towards the championship title in the Advanstar powered series.
“The geographic schedule, along with what Advanstar is offering to both the riders in terms of payouts, and sponsors in terms of exposure, helped make the decision to go with this new series,” said team manager George Hodkinson. “We have a great mix of riders on this well-balanced team and also a good mix of some national and Midwest based team support and that list of sponsors is growing everyday,” he added.
Storm Lake Honda and Club 24×7 will join with Rims Plus.net, JML Fabrication, Pro Honda Parts and Oils, Moto X Wear, GP Racing Rapad-V, Joker Machine, Hammer Head Shifters, Bula Advertising, Storm Cycles, and Dubs327.com to bring the team to every round of the 12-stop series.
The 12-event race series kicks off November 4-6, 2005 and wraps up in Tulsa, Oklahoma, February 10-12, 2006. For more information please visit www.racearenacross.com (1-817-595-5844).
