Hepler and Jesseman Injured During Testing

MURRIETA, Calif., (January 20, 2004) — Suzuki’s Broc Hepler and Branden Jesseman were injured during testing today at the factory test track.

17-year-old Broc Hepler suffered a separated shoulder where the clavicle meets the shoulder. Hepler will consult with his physician on Friday and start physical therapy early next week. Hepler’s ability to compete in the 125 East Series opener in Houston will depend on his physician’s prognosis.

Jesseman, the reigning 125 East Supercross Champion, suffered a sprained finger while testing. A visit to a nearby hospital verified that the finger was not broken. Jesseman will be ready to race in Houston on February 14th.
