The current situation that Jason Anderson and the Rockstar Energy Racing team find themselves in is unique, to put it simply.
First comes the contract extension that will take the 2014 Monster Energy Supercross 250 West Coast Regional champion into the 450 ranks, which serves as an indication of the mutual respect shared by both parties. This working relationship has carried Anderson through his career, from the tumultuous rookie season to current place as one of the sport’s future stars, and brought the team its first professional title after years of dedication to Anderson’s talent.
Second is the brand they receive backing from. Rockstar Energy Racing earned support from KTM for the 2014 season, and the partnership proved to be so successful so quickly that they earned the honor of becoming the official American motocross effort for Husqvarna’s return in 2015. Because Husqvarna is one of the many divisions in KTM’s corporation, the team is free to discuss their future OEM and even put star rider Anderson aboard the bike in public. Since there is little difference between the current 450 offerings from KTM and Husqvarna and because he will stay with Rockstar Energy Racing, Anderson is able to get acclimated to the new ride without worry of a penalty.
We were granted an invitation to see Anderson in action aboard the all-new Rockstar Energy Racing Husqvarna FC 450 on Monday morning, July 7th, at Lake Elsinore Motorsports Park and took full advantage of the opportunity with a photo gallery, wallpapers, on-track video edit, and GoPro footage from Anderson’s perspective, most of which will trickle out over the next few days. Until then, enjoy these shots and wallpapers of Anderson turning motos…
