CARLSBAD, Calif., (July 13, 2005) The AMA Motocross Championship Series, presented by FMF, top rookie racer Jason Lawrence announced today that he has decided to close out the remainder of the AMA Nationals on a Cernic’s Racing-backed Suzuki. Lawrence will be pitting out of the Monster Energy Rig and will be assisted by mechanic Tony Jeske.
Eighteen-year-old Lawrence, who is a multi-time Loretta Lynn Amateur National Motocross Champion, was assisted at the previous two Outdoor Nationals by the MotoworldRacing.com/Suzuki Team. “I’m looking forward to finishing out the rest of the AMA Motocross Championship Series on a Cernic’s-backed Suzuki and wish nothing but the best for the Motoworld team”, said Lawrence.
According to Lawrence’s agent, Scott Sepkovic of Crown Athlete Management Group, Jeff Cernic stepped up in a big way to help out the New Jersey racer. “Jeff’s assistance couldn’t have come at a better time,” said Sepkovic. “He worked to put together a very generous package that will keep Jason on a Suzuki for the rest of the Nationals, as well as the Pro Sport class at Loretta’s. So all Jason has to do now is focus on his racing.”
The package Cernic’s put together includes the assistance of: Pro Circuit, JD Motoring, N-Style Graphics, Sunline/ARC, Acerbis, Motion Pro, TAG Metals, Showa, and MCR Performance.
Along with Monster Energy Drink, Lawrence would like to send a shout-out to his other main sponsors, including: Suzuki, One Industries Helmets, Dunlop, Six Six One boots, Lost Clothing, Alloy, Spy, Freestyle Watch Co., Iron Horse Bicycles, Kicker, Renthal and Sponsorhouse.com.
