At Home: Jeremy Martin’s Millville Motos

Since we have nothing better to do with our time than look back at this year’s best motos, one of the first that comes to mind is Jeremy Martin’s day at Millville. The MYPLASH/Metal Mulisha/Star Racing/Yamaha had a distinct home field advantage on the competition, as he grew up in a home that rests just on the other side of the infamous sand whoops, and was a favorite to place on the podium. When Martin rocketed to the front of the pack in the first moto, the cheers from the Spring Creek faithful were almost deafening and undoubtedly help the young racer hold Eli Tomac off for as long as he did. In the end, Martin claimed fourth overall but made his intentions to take the 250 class well-known.
