Jeremy McGrath Makes 4th X Games Appearance

Los Angeles, CA — August 1, 2007 — Jeremy McGrath, the seven time Supercross Champion, will make his fourth appearance this week at X Games 13. McGrath has one goal this year take gold in Moto X Step Up and SuperMoto. For the first time ever, McGrath will be lending his in depth knowledge of Supercross to the viewers at home as he takes on the duty of commentating for X Games’ newest discipline Moto X Racing.

2007 is becoming a breakout season for McGrath in a whole new way. McGrath is synonymous with two wheel racing and known for being a threat to win in any competition he enters. With that in mind, McGrath wanted a new challenge, this year he has hooked up with the biggest name in Nascar, Dale Earnhardt Jr, and is driving the #72 Monster Energy Chevrolet in the Late Model Stock Car Series for Earnhardt Jr.’s team, JR Motorsports.

McGrath hopes to bring both those worlds together in Los Angeles this weekend as he takes on the biggest action sports competition of the year. McGrath will also be taking time to meet with his fans on Saturday at 4pm at the Thor Booth at X Fest in Home Depot Center.

Moto X Step Up finals are Friday August 3rd, broadcast live on ESPN at 7:00 PM PST at the Staples Center. McGrath’s broadcasting debut with Moto X Racing is on ESPN2; Saturday August 4th at 4:00 PM PST continuing on ESPN at 6:00 PM PST.
