MC’s debut race on his new KTM was this weekend in Pesaro, Italy, at the Pianeta Supercross. His results featured a mix of highs and lows.
On Saturday night he won the first moto, got second (behind Travis Preston) in the second one, and had a relatively easy win in the main.
Sunday proved a lot tougher. He holeshot the first moto and took the win in that one. However, in the second moto he got a bad start, and worked his way from fifth up to Kyle Lewis, who was leading. As he pulled alongside, Kyle apparently jumped from one side of the track to the other. He and Jeremy hit in mid-air, and when they landed, Jeremy high-sided. The contact with the ground knocked him out for a few seconds, effectively ending his race weekend.
He checked out okay in the local hospital, and other than being bummed, and nursing a Charlie horse on his leg where it got pinched by the bars, everything’s okay.
Thanks to the crew at nacnac.com for the info, and we’ll update the results further when we hear more.
