Jeremy McGrath to Race Rounds Five and Six of Championship Off Road Racing Series

Los Angeles, CA (June 6th, 2007) – Seven time AMA Supercross Champion Jeremy McGrath will race rounds five and six of the CORR Lucas Oil Series on Saturday and Sunday in Chula Vista, CA. Racing a Baldwin prepared Pro 2 truck, McGrath will also race in the NBC broadcast Jason Baldwin Memorial Cup Series Qualifier.

This marks McGrath’s fifth CORR race – he made his CORR debut in 2005, also under the Baldwin Racing umbrella where in two of the races he came within one spot of a podium finish.

Testing most of the day yesterday with Baldwin Racing, Jeremy had this to say, “this racing is so much fun for me! It’s great to be back running the CORR series again and really great to be in the Baldwin pits again. The Pro 2 I’m in is super fast and this new track is phenomenal!

When asked about strategy for this upcoming weekend, McGrath smiled and said, “I plan on going out there and having a great time – this track is like nothing I’ve ever seen before so I am pretty excited and I look forward to having more opportunities to be a guest driver, for sure!

Although retired from full-time Supercross racing, McGrath’s racing schedule is as full as it has ever been – he is also racing 10 stops of the Late Model Stock Car Series as part of the JR Motorsports team this season.
