The KTM Junior Supercross Challenge will be held at both rounds of the Canadian Supercross series. This year, two rounds of the 2004 THQ World Supercross Championships will be held in Canada. Toronto will host the first round on December 4 th at the Toronto Sky Dome and round two will be seen at Vancouvers’ BC Place Stadium on December 11 th .

KJSC is in the ninth year of participation and has already entertained the dream of being a KTM Factory Rider for a day for thousands of riders. Each young rider is randomly chosen to participate in what has been called one of the most successful youth motorcycling experience events to date. The seven or eight year old riders compete on an identically prepared 2005 KTM 50 SX Pro Senior LC mini-motorcycle during an intermission of the Supercross venue.

Sel Narayana, KTM’s Vice President and KJSC Manager stated, “It is such a pleasure to give these children an opportunity of a lifetime at the supercross event. They ride on the same track as their idols — imagine how exciting that is for a young rider! It is a huge reward for me and the rest of KTM to see such excitement on their faces when they see the track and then the audience for the first time. After all is said and done, there is nothing better than seeing a smile on their face when they are heading home.

Look for the great KJSC intermission show at a Supercross event near you!
