Los Angeles SX 2012: Practice Report

Photos by Jordan Powell

The weather wrecked havoc on the day’s schedule, as the fear of rain forced the AMA to drop two of the three practices, leaving only one chance for the racers to qualify for the night show. The removal of the plastic sheets that protected the track began at 1 PM, and as Feld and Dirt Wurx pulled back the tarps, a dry and unharmed track was unveiled. With only one session it was do or die for everyone, as they would only have twelve minutes to get the track wired. It was no time before the usual suspects were making their way to the top of the board.
