Ezra Lusk, DMXS Radio, and Bremen Race Park are teaming up for the Clay Mathis Benefit Ride on November 19th, and 20th in Bremen Georgia. All proceeds from the weekend will assist Clay who was injured several weeks ago while riding. Clay has made some great improvements but remains at the Atlanta Shepard Spinal Center while recovering.
The open practice day on Saturday the 19th will be run on the fully prepped MX track, and sessions will be broken down into class size as usual to accommodate all riders. This will be the same track and deep red clay loam that Zack Osborne and the boys rode last weekend at the AMA Thunder Cross 4-Stroke National. Once again, Bremen steps up and continues to be the standard in our sport.
On Sunday the 20th, Ezra Lusk has generously offered to give a riding school to further raise funds for Clay and his family. We will be taking a limited number of riders, so make sure you sign up early. It will be a 5-hour class at a cost of $120, and 100% of the money raised will go to directly to Clay. It will be worth that just to see Ezra railing some berms and throwing it sideways on the massive 120ft uphill triple, but you can have some one-on-one instruction as well.
We will also have a rider gear auction on Saturday which includes signed jerseys from RC, Reed, Tedesco, Byrne and many others. Take this opportunity to add to your collection while helping out one of our own.
This will be a great weekend of riding and a worthy cause for a fallen brother. Please help spread the word and we look forward to seeing you there. For riding school reservations or info, please send your requests to: firstname.lastname@example.org.
