MB1/Deluge Sport/Huntington Beach Honda’s Partridge and Sani Back in Action

Corona, CA. Round 3 of the AMA Amp’d Mobile Supercross Lites class in Anaheim, CA saw the MB1 — Deluge Sport — Huntington Beach Honda team riders Kyle Partridge and Daniel Sani both in action for the first time this year. Both Kyle and Daniel had solid practices which put them in a good position for their gate picks in the heat races.

Heat race 1 saw Kyle jump out to a 2nd place start aboard his Mark Farabaugh prepared MB1 — Deluge Sport — Huntington Beach Honda CRF250R and moved into the lead by the end of lap 1. He put down very consistent laps and was extremely strong in the whoops leading for 3 laps and finishing a solid 3rd. Heat race 2 saw Daniel in his first race back after a foot injury, rocket his Andrew White prepared MB1 — Deluge Sport — Huntington Beach Honda CRF250R to a holeshot and put himself solidly into the main event.

The Lites main saw both Kyle and Daniel enter the first turn at the front of the pack, but Sani got pushed out and reentered in last place, while Partridge finished the first lap in 6th. Partridge was locked multiple battles all race long and saw him climb as high as 5th at one point, while Sani was clawing his way thru the field to secure as many points as possible. On lap 13 Partridge made a move to pass back into 5th and ended up losing a few spots and finishing a solid 9th, which pushes him closer to the top 10 in points. Sani fought hard all race long to work thru the field and ended up with a 17th place finish in his first race back, just outside the top 20 in points.
