Millsaps And Wilson Grab Pole Position In Arlington

Round seven of the Monster Energy AMA Supercross Series made its way East to the Dallas Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. Riders were greeted with tacky track conditions early in the morning, but as the day progressed, it became slippery and hard-packed. Once qualifying came to a close, Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps put in a last lap charge, and stole the number one spot from James Stewart. Millsaps admitted to having some difficulties in the first qualifying session, but he was able to make some changes for the better. As for the 250 class, Monster Energy/Pro Circuit/Kawasaki’s Dean Wilson was on a tear all day long, and never lost possession of the pole position. Red Bull KTM’s Marvin Musquin sat right behind Wilson in both qualifying times, however; the Frenchman was unable to steal the spotlight.
