AURORA, Ill. (April 20, 2007) — Amp’d Mobile Supercross announced today the three finalists for the coveted Miss Supercross contest for the 2007-’08 season. Miss Anaheim 1 Sara Lipert, Miss Dallas Leticia Cline and Miss Detroit Chelsea Buhler have been chosen as the three finalists and the winner will be selected in Las Vegas at the Amp’d Mobile Supercross finals inside Sam Boyd Stadium Saturday, May 5.
From Anaheim to Seattle, 13 girls were randomly chosen after submitting an entry and photo to the official website of Amp’d Mobile Supercross, www.SupercrossOnLine.com. Over 10,000 votes were received during the month-long poll. The three finalists who received the most votes will be flown to Las Vegas where the winner will be decided via text messaging powered by Amp’d Mobile.
Before the AMA Supercross class main event, the winner will be announced to the sold-out crowd at Las Vegas’ Sam Boyd Stadium.
“We were able to provide an amazing opportunity for our current Miss Supercross, Brittney George, who won the title of Miss Supercross 2006 on www.supercrossonline.com. Leticia Cline, who lives in Florida and Texas while working as a model and television host, has been involved with the motorcycle industry, representing several companies, including series sponsor Parts Unlimited, Racer X and Amp’d Mobile Supercross.
“I’m excited to be one of the final 3, said Cline. “Racing is a big part of my life and this is a great opportunity to stay involved in the industry that I’ve been waiting a long time for.”

California native Sara Lipert was drawn to the sport of motocross at the young age of six when she began riding her 80cc motorcycle around a dry lake near her house for hours at a time. She quickly found herself growing with the sport as she purchased numerous motorcycles on her way to becoming a finalist for Miss Supercross.

Miss Supercross 2007-’08 will make her debut at the opening race of the 2007-’08 Amp’d Mobile World Supercross GP race.
