With another weekend off from US professional racing, the biggest racing of the weekend took place across the pond at the Casino Bonver GP of the Czech Republic held in the town of Loket. There the series experienced a break from the norm as French Bud Kawasaki rider and former 2009 points leader, Gauteir Paulin, took captured his first MX2 win in a while with 4-1 moto scores over team Teka Suzuki’s Xavier Boog. In MX1 competition, Belgian rider Clemente Desalle, who recently finished third in the first moto at Washougal, captured his very first GP win over Red Bull KTM’s Max Nagl.
Stateside, with the 2009 running Loretta Lynn’s now in the books, look for several riders make their debuts this coming weekend at the Unadilla National. Among rookies reportedly taking their first shots at the big leagues will be Dean Wilson, Jason Anderson, and Blake Bagget. Do not be surprised to see any or all of these riders running near the front of the pack come Saturday.
The tenth annual Surfercross went off last week with many action sports industry heavies in attendance. What has become a summertime tradition, Surfercross is a combined discipline, team format competition that takes place both on the track and in the water. The first day was held at Starwest Raceway, while the surfing portion took place at Trail 6 at San Onofre State Beach. The big winners of the event were Justin Brayton and Ryan Sakal.

That kid Marvin Musquin is the future of motocross. Dude missed last race bcoz of contract issues and also got 0 points in moto 2 this wkd and still leads the series by like 23 points. Not even Ricky did that. Another kid to watch for is Ken Roczen. Kid is only 15 yrs but can smoke Dungey.

the track looks so lame! its flat! its been said before that the gp guys slowly picked up scrubs, looks because they dont have too many opportunities to do so. anyone else worried about the US mx of nations team? no dominating rider in our team this year!!!
