Australasian SuperX

The big surprise from Australia came with Dan Reardon’s victory in the main event at the Perth SuperX. After a big holeshot, Reardon did his best to check out aboard his Woodstock Honda Thor Racing’s CRF450R, while the usually dominant Chad Reed started the main in fifth place. Reed, as expected, battled through the pack and nearly caught Reardon. Unfortunately for Reed, there was not enough track left on the final lap for him to make the pass. Reardon held on for the victory. Reardon now hold a two-point overall lead on Chad Reed heading into Canberra next week. Check out the video from the main event from Perth HERE.

The Monster Energy Super X will now make its way to Canberra for the fourth round on Saturday November 7.

Catching Up With… Martin Davalos

We ran into Martin recently at Pala Raceway as he was shaking down his newest ride: a DNA Shred Stix/Star Racing/Yamaha YZ250F. Davalos is coming off of an injury plagued year but is looking to turn things around with his new/old team. When Martin first turned pro, he was picked up by Star, and now after a few seasons, he is returning to his roots for 2010. We pointed our VADO HD cam at him so he could fill us in on everything Davalos…
